FAQs - working with us

  • What’s the best way to get started?

Send us a message through our contact form with a few details about your project — what you're creating, your timeline, and any visual inspo you love. From there, we'll book a discovery call.

  • How far in advance should I book?

We recommend getting in touch 4–6 weeks ahead of your preferred shoot date so we have enough time to plan, prep, and book any necessary talent or space.

  • Do you help with creative direction or should I bring my own concept?

We’ve got you covered. We specialize in concept creation and art direction, but we’re always happy to collaborate if you already have ideas, mood boards, or a visual style in mind.

  • Can you help me choose colors or create a set that aligns with my brand?

Absolutely. We take a curated and intentional approach to every shoot. Color theory, mood, lighting, and styling are all designed to reflect your brand and elevate your visuals.

  • What styles of photography do you offer?

We offer product, lifestyle, e-commerce, campaign, and creative portrait photography. This includes everything from still life sets for brands to press shots for musicians and artists. We shoot both in-studio and on location, and provide full creative services including concept development, pre-production, styling, and retouching.

  • Do you offer video services?

While our focus is photography, if you’d like to add video to your project we are able to contract out trusted videographers we’ve worked with in the past to ensure everything flows seamlessly on shoot day.

FAQs - shoot details & logistics

  • What does communication look like leading up to the shoot?

We stay in close contact throughout the pre-production process. After your initial inquiry, we’ll collaborate on a concept, lock in a shoot date, and start building a mood board. From there, we’ll schedule a meeting to walk through the visual direction and shot list so you know exactly what to expect. We’ll make any necessary tweaks together before moving forward with the rest of the planning.

  • What’s included in pre-production?

Pre-production includes everything from creative development and moodboarding to sourcing props, hiring talent (models, HMUAs, stylists), and location research. We charge for pre-production at an hourly rate, which varies depending on the complexity of the project. This is charged at an hourly rate.

  • Do you shoot in-studio or on location?

Both! We have access to a studio space in Vic West and also shoot on location depending on what your project calls for.

  • Can I attend the shoot?

Clients are welcome on set, though we aim to keep things minimal for flow and efficiency. For product photography, it's common for clients to ship their products to us. In those cases, we can video chat or send screenshots during the shoot for real-time feedback and approvals.

  • What if the shoot goes over time?

We always aim to stick to the timeline, but if we run over, we’ll notify you right away. Overtime is billed in half hour increments.

  • What’s your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

We understand that things change. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please let us know as soon as possible. We require 14 business days’ notice to avoid fees, as outlined in your contract.

  • Can I give feedback on edits?

Definitely. We can schedule a review call or walk through the edits together to make sure everything aligns with your vision.

  • How does the image selection process work?

We’ll cull the gallery and choose the strongest images, then send you a proofing gallery so you can make final selections for retouching.

  • How many images will I receive?
